Authentic testimony of Sarawak’s traditions, the Rainforest Fringe Festival (RFF) takes place every year leading up to the famous Rainforest World Music Festival. For 7 days, from 05. to 12. JULY 2019, the RFF 2019 will be happening in Kuching, offering a diverse schedule of activities related to Sarawak’s culture, history but also its nature Between food tasting sessions, fashion show, indigenous film festival, workshops, concerts, artists’ expositions, traditional tattoo artists and photographers exhibits, the RFF 2019 is an event not to be missed.
The Rainforest World Music Festival (RWMF) is an annual music festival that brings together musicians and performers from all over the world and with various cultural backgrounds. Nestled into the lush rainforest at the foothill of Mount Santubong, the Sarawak Cultural Village, a living museum portraying Sarawak’s diverse ethnic groups, provides the perfect venue for the 3 days celebration. The award-winning RWMF features music & dance workshops, cultural & crafts displays, as well as food & beverage stalls during the daytime, while the evenings are filled with concerts ranging from traditional performances to fusion and contemporary music. Definitely a fun-filled event not to be missed!
This year the RWMF will take place from the 12. JULY to 14. JULY 2019 and BORNÉO À LA CARTE will be one of the official ticket vendors.
